Harveys are part of the Steinhoff group which was founded in 1964 by Bruno Steinhoff in Westerstede, Germany. Steinhoff is now one of the top five furniture groups in Europe and Australasia, and the largest in Africa. Steinhoff manufactures, warehouses, retails and distributes a wide range of household goods (mainly within the lounge, dining and bedroom sectors) as well as raw materials used primarily in manufacturing these household goods.
Steinhoff own more than 70 factories spanning the United Kingdom, Netherlands, Germany, Poland, Hungary, Ukraine, South Africa, India, Australia and New Zealand.
